Haley's Solo

Haley's children's musical was tonite at church. It was entitled GPS, God's Plan of Salvation. She did a super job on her solo. She remembered all her words and didn't act nervous at all. We are so proud of her.

Haley's 6th Birthday Party

We had a great time celebrating Haley's 6th Birthday. She had a painting party at a local arts center. She especially enjoyed the company of all her sweet friends. The cake was created by Barb, the cake lady! She did a FABULOUS job. I highly recommend her. It was delicious and priced very reasonably. Thanks, Barb!

Buford's Engaged!

Jason's cousin, Buford is engaged to Caroline Craig. She is absolutely, beautiful, as you can see. We are so excited about their March 2009 wedding in Atlanta.

Muffins for Mom

What a sweet morning. The children sang us songs and wrote a poem for each of their mom's. Haley did such a great job on hers:

"My mom has blongde hair and tan skin. She has short straigh hair. She has reading glasses but doesn't wear them when she goes somewhere. She wears perfume when we go out but doesn't when we stay around the house. She makes good cookies and brownies. Her job is to clean diapers and clean the house. She's thinking about getting me a desk. She's good at giving me surprieses. She taught me how to craw and walk and of course not to bite anybody. She likes to read a book in bed and do her meails. Mom and Dad like to have anight out. She clalls me Haley Bug. She helped me get my paceies out of my mouth. Mama prayed about it. I threw them away. Now my brother does it. He has pacies all under his ed. If I didn't stop the pacies mama said I would have two big front teeth. At night we read a book and say our praters. Mama reads a chapter book named How to Lead Your Child To Christ. It has stories fo rmoms and for kids. She gives the best hugs. She carries me. She is the best mom in the world. She is so sweet."

This is the best Mother's Day gift ever! Thank you, sweet Haley.

Service

Jason was honored to speak about what God had done through him while he was in Iraq. The worship service ministered to us so much! Thank you First Baptist for having us. You are such a warm congregation. You blessed us!
