Bonefish Grill

What a treat! A girls nite out with a good buddy! It was so fun catching up with Kristin. It had been years since we had been together. Thanks mom and dad for keeping the kids. Before we knew it was 9:30. Let's not wait this long to get together again, girl!

Brayden gets stitches

Saturday was a very eventful day for us. It started Friday evening when Haley said her ear ached. She got up a few times in the middle of the nite complaining of an ear ache. I took her to Children's first thing Saturday morning. She had a ruptured ear drum, very infected. She did so good. The Dr. said it was a wonder she wasn't screaming in pain. While I was at Children's with Haley, mom and Brayden went to the playground. While on the phone with mom to let her know how Haley was doing, Brayden fell on the playground equipment and cut his chin badly. I came home with Haley, picked up Brayden and we headed back to Children's. Where he recieved 6 stitches. He was a TROOPER. They put him in a restraint and he didn't cry once during his stitches. I was so proud of him. We now have successfully arrived in VA. We traveled 12 hours Sunday. The kids did so well in the car. Thanks to mom who was the number entertainer!

Trees

Grammie had such clever activities for Haley and Brayden. Haley make a donut tree and Brayden made a gum drop tree. I am not sure how much deocrating got done, however. I saw a many donuts and gumdrops make it into the mouths of babes! The crafts of Christmas were a hit!
